I have many files that are pass word protected in a directory. But when I do
a search for a key word, it doesn't search the password protected files. Is there a search option allowing me to enter a password? Thank you. |

In a word - no.
If you think about what's involved, with the potential for hundreds or thousands of passwords being required (in some cases maybe more one than per file) - and the understanding of various application file formats and decryption algorithms that might be required in the search engine, I think it's unlikely that you'll see this kind of feature, ever. -- Enjoy, Tony "Search Option Word Problem" Search Option Word wrote in message news ![]() I have many files that are pass word protected in a directory.
