Default Adding "revised on and the date" to each page

I cannot find on the insert button how to add "revied on" to each page on my
word document. I am working on Microsoft word 2003.

I'm not aware of such a function. However there is an AutoText entry for
Last saved by xxx on xx/xx/xx. It should be on your AutoText menu on the
header and footer toolbar when you are in a header or footer.
Note, this field is not updated by the act of saving. You need to actually
update the field. If it is in a header or footer it probably will be updated
automatically. If you want it to update when you save, you may have to
follow some of the methods discussed in
http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/File_Name_And_Path.htm for forcing an update of
the filename and path field.
