Word gives error message when opening
When I open Word I receive an error message that reads, "Assertion Failed,
Program: Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\WINWORD.exe File:.\scoring.cpp Line:133 If I click ignore, Word finishes loading and the tool bars for Acorbat load. I feel it is associated with Acorbat but this just started recently so I feel it is a problem with Word and not Acrobat. Any suggestions? Thanks |

Word gives error message when opening
Actually, the error message is caused by Dorland's or Spellex
medical spellcheckers in combination with Service Pack 2 for Office 2003. Dorland's and Spellex have released updates to their spellcheckers to make them work properly with Office 2003 SP2. pbuckler wrote: When I open Word I receive an error message that reads, "Assertion Failed, Program: Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\WINWORD.exe File:.\scoring.cpp Line:133 If I click ignore, Word finishes loading and the tool bars for Acorbat load. Thank you Garfield. That took care of it. I have struggled with this for
several weeks now. I greatly appreciate it.
