Would D drive be a CD/DVD writer by any chance?
Save to the hard drive and copy to the writer. Never ever try to save Word documents to removable media. It is a constant source of document corruption. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Chris wrote: I am trying to save a word document on my personal laptop (new) and a message tells me that i do not have access to the D drive and i should see my administator.
