Since working with Office 2003, the File-Open window shows files first in
stead of folders first. I cannot find (in the Help, or with Properties) where to change the viewing order. |

In the Open Dialog, click on the dropdown arrow on the icon that looks
(roughly) like the window (to the left of "Tools") and select "Details" for the View. Alternatively right click in the body of the dialog window and select View Details. In Details view you have a grid with column headers. The "Name" header probably shows a down arrowhead. Click on that column header to reverse the sort order - it will then show an up arrowhead and the folders should be back at the top. Now change the view back to how you want it and the folders should remain at the head of the list. -- Enjoy, Tony "Madeleine Bruins" Madeleine wrote in message ...
