Hi George -
Is it a) encrypted, b) encoded, or c) just displaying as 'garbage' because you are attempting to open it directly in the email window or perhaps don't have the correct font? Save the attachment to your hard drive, & in Word use the typical FileOpen command. If that doesn't solve the issue, post back with more specifics as to what happens when you try (also include software/OS versions).
