Hi! I have a document that has a 3 column table and about 10 rows. Each cell
has a name of different companies. I have had to add new companies to the bottom of the table and I would like to have it alphabatized so they are in the right order. When I got to "Sort" it won't sort correctly! I have tried all the combinations of selecting Sort By Column 1, Column 2, etc and it will put some in order but not others. It also will not sort between the columns, it just changes the order of each individual column. As an example: Before Sort: Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 A F B G A D B B A After Sort with Sort By Column 1: A F B B B A G A D What I would like it to be: A A A B B B D F G Any ideas? Thanks! |

Hi Tiffany,
You might convert the table to text (with para marks as delimiters), sort, and then convert back into a table? Regards, Klaus "Tiffany" wrote: Hi!
