I try to enter mathematical functions, I have looked on the online help but foud nothing about this topic. Is it impossible? Or there is a way I don't know? Could you help me please, because I have pages to do and I try with Mathcad, but it is not done for that!!!!! I thank you very much by advance Patrick Artaud |

The Equation editor allows you to type mathematical statements, but
does not actually calculate the result. Try INSERT, OBJECT, CREATE NEW, (MS) EQUATION See http://spot.pcc.edu/~ssimonds/thisandthat/msword.htm for some basic help on entering equations. |

Hello, I try to enter mathematical functions, I have looked on the online help but foud nothing about this topic. Insert Object Microsoft Equation If that menu function isn't there, you'll need to install it from your Office or Word disc. I don't think Equation Editor is part of the default install. Once Equation Editor is open, you can use its help function to see what to do. There's also a good page of tips at http://www.mathtype.com/en/products/ee/ee_tips.htm For samples of its output, see http://www.acad.sunytccc.edu/instruc...at/leastsq.htm and http://www.acad.sunytccc.edu/instruc...alc/usubst.htm -- Stan Brown, Oak Road Systems, Tompkins County, New York, USA http://OakRoadSystems.com/ "If there's one thing I know, it's men. In addition to the Equation Editor, you can use an EQ field - harder to
master, but more flexible when it comes to controlling fonts, positioning and line spacing. Cheers "ratoso" wrote in message ...
