desciption: i cannot drag over text and then type over it anymore. whenever
i drag text and begin typing the selection identifier (negative) disapears,
all the text remains, and the text i am typing is just placed before the text
i wanted to replace. i cannot even select text and push "backspace" to rmove
text. the only thing that works is to hold backspace so each letter is
individually deleted or to select text and push "delete." this is extremely
annoying when typing.

need: some way to get Word back to its origonal text entering and editing
system
