Fonts
I have trouble changing from one font to another. When I attempted to change
from "Betsy" to "Arial" I got symbols. Any hints about this? |

Fonts
Betsy is a strange font. it puts F2 for spaces and F11 for Enters. I would
bet that the problem is not in your changing fonts, but due to the fact that Betsy maps different keys than other fonts. If you open the Character Map (Start | Programs | Accessories) you can see that Betsy has a very limited character set as opposed to Arial.
