In Word 2003, opening a file \dir1\xyz.doc CHANGES the default directory to
\dir1\ (so the next File:Open initially shows documents in \dir1\). This is a nuisance. Word 2000 had it right. Change the default directory only if you've specified a *directory* when invoking the Open commandbutton in the File:Open dialogue. |
