Word 2000 comes with a Works 4.0 .wps converter on your
Word/Office 2000 CD. In Word, click on File | Open | Files of type: Works 4.0 (.wps). If Works 4.0 is not a choice under "files of type", then you probably didn't install the converter when you installed Word/Office 2000, so you need to add the feature to your existing installation. Most of the Works converters (including Works 4) are linked from the
downloads page of my web site. Do NOT try to open that file from the floppy disc. Copy it to the hard drive first, or you are likely to corrupt the file or the disc. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org BuzWil wrote: Help needed to open a text file (3.5 disk) done in Works 4.0 in Microsoft Word 2000 |
