Default Export to Visio from

I am trying to save a Word file into Visio, but cannot work it out. Have
tried import/export. Help much appreciated

My experience with Visio is extremely limited but...........Did you try copy
and paste?

Looks like I'll have to open said programs and see what, if anything, can be

I'm using Word 2003 and Visio Pro 2003. I can copy and paste into Visio. I
thought at first it brought it over as a "picture" but I can edit the text
with no problems.

What happens when you try? Is your Word doc just a document with text or do
you have some tables, forms fields, or other fancy stuff?

You cannot save a Word document as a Visio document or vice versa. Depending
on the document you may be able to cut and paste - or you could insert a one
page document as an object.
