Can't save to In-CD directly rom word document on my lap top. I have no
problem doing this on my desk top. Pleaese explain in laymans terms what the problem is. Thanking You. |

You probably have a different set of updates on the two machines. Word
discourages the saving of documents to removable media as it is a major source of document corruption. Always work from the hard driver and copy to CD for the purposes of archiving. packet formatted discs as created by InCD and similar applications are not the most reliable storage formats at the best of times. I would not use this for any mission critical document.
