When I double click on a Word document to open it in Word I see the virus
scan run and finish but the document doesn't always open up for editing. What is strange is that this just started happening and it's not always consistent. I can always open the document from the open folder selection option so there is nothing wrong with the document itself. Its as if the virus scan process is not passing the file name off to the open dialog once the virus scan is finished. I am using Word 2003 with all the latest patches. I have run Word repair and that doesn't resolve the problem either. Any other ideas or the answer is appreciated. |
