Why is it that when I merge whole numbers from an Excel doc into a Word
document I get a decimal with several trailing numbers?? Also, when I enter elapsed times (from a stop watch from a running event) into Excel, it always gives me the am/pm. I do not want that (am/pm) to go into my Word doc when I merge the data. |

Likely, you're VIEWING whole numbers in Excel. However, if you click on a
cell, what's actually in the formula bar? But you can fix them using field codes. See: http://www.officearticles.com/word/m...osoft_word.htm ************ Hope it helps!
