How do you change a random number in a document to appear as a roman numeral?
I't not a list or page number, just a random number in a sentance. |

You could select the number then:
.. overtype it with the roman numeral equivalent; or .. press Ctrl-F9 to embed it in a field, then type '=' before it and '\* roman' or '\* roman \* upper' after it, so that you get something like- {=1909 \* roman} or {=1909 \* roman \* upper} and press F9 to update the field.
