Hi ?B?TXkgZG9jdW1lbnRzIHByb2JsZW1z?=,

Opening of files in my documents is very slow?

Has this always been the case, or did it start recently?
Are you working in a net-worked environment, or do you have
a stand-alone system? Which version of Word and Windows?

Hi - I am using Windows 98 and Word 97 both legitamate copies.
I think its always been the case.
The my documents file has grown larger and larger. I wondered if this might
be having some effect on it?
I am not networked.

Richard: Your PC could probably use a good cleaning:

If that doesn't help, you can try Word troubleshooting:

Cindy may have some suggestions as well...
(Hi, Cindy! Sold my first book on eBay just for fun.)

Hope it helps!
