I'm using Word 2003 and I have a problem. I'm helping our communications
department set up a Word template that is basically letterhead. Using the form fields we set up the document and protected it so that they can't do anything but enter text. Then they realized that header/footer and spell check were not accessible. I found and followed instructions on creating section breaks. So before all the info I put in a continuous section break and then again after and protected only the middle. I can now add text before and after, but still cannot click on view header/footer and tools - spell check. Also I realize that I'm going to have to remove the page break at the very least before the fields because due to company restrictions, the fields have to start at a certain spot. Any help would be appreciated. I don't know squat about VB and very little about macros. Thanks in advance, Carla |

Sorry. Spelled protected wrong. *sigh*
Also wanted to note that spell check isn't a big issue, but the header/footer is. Thanks, Carla "Carla" wrote: I'm using Word 2003 and I have a problem. See the article "Change Headers and Footers in a document protected for
forms" at: http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Macros...tectHeader.htm -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis. Thank you. Is there any way to do it without a macro? I created a macro and
added the text on that link, but I think it needs more coding than that and I'm clueless with that.
