Default How do I get text in a header (table) to automatically repeat

Years ago I created headers with the title and the revision number. Then the
body of the text would be instructions of procedures to perform. In certain
parts of the text, the title from the header would automatically be inserted
throughout the text. When ever the header would change (title) then the text
would automatically update with this information. This was done in Word 97
but now I have Office 2003. How do I perform these steps above in MS Office
2003 (Word)?
