There is a way in Microsoft Word to have the screen maximized when I access Word. How would I do that? Thank you, Barry Karas P.S. The program opened maximized all of the time until last week. |

By and large, Word will open in the view (and with the size window) in which
it was closed, but you can force this by selecting it in the properties of the shortcut used to start Word, as follows: 1. Right-click on the shortcut you use to start Word (on the desktop, Programs menu, or QuickLaunch toolbar) and select Properties. 2. Select the Shortcut tab. 3. Select "Maximized" in the Run box. A word of caution: recent versions of Word create a desktop shortcut whose properties cannot be modified; if you encounter this problem, you'll need to create a new shortcut. To do this, search for winword.exe, right-click, and choose Create Shortcut. Drag that shortcut to the desired location, and then edit the Properties as above. -- Suzanne S.
