Default Good source for track changes

Can someone recommend a book that has a chapter or section that would give me
a good introduction to tracking changes? I'm working with them for the first
time and while I know I don't have a proper knowledge of them, I'm not sure
others do either.

A less flashy option, possibly quicker to read and easier to get others to
look out, I should think--
