Default WordPerfect can convert documents to pdf format, can MS Word 2003

I use Corel WordPerfect 12. The program can use a File command named
"Publish"which converts a wpd document to pdf format (WordPerfect document
format is normally wpd). Does Microsoft Word have the same ability?

No. Word currently has no compatibility with PDf formats. There is a raft of
third party products from free to Adobe Acrobat which will provide this
facility.
