I have 2 columns, 3 rows. I'm trying to subtract 2nd column: 1st row minus
2nd. I can't get that formula right. I tried =MIN(b1:b2) or =MIN(b1,b2). Could anyone tell me what is correct? Thanks. ll |

The MIN function simply returns whichever is the lesser of the two values.
It does not do a subtraction. You need =b1-b2. Read Word's help file for more info or, for a 'tutorial' with examples of using formulae in Word, download the Word document at: http://www.wopr.com/cgi-bin/w3t/show...?Number=365442 (url all one line) Cheers "ll" wrote in message ...
