Default Images do not appear

In Word, I sometimes will paste a screenshot into my documentation. When I
do this or any document that has an image in it, I usually cannot see it
unless I select Print Preview or actually print the document. Is there a
setting that I can change so I can see it?

Thanks,

Hi TJAC,

Have you tried clearing Tools | Options... | View | Picture placeholders?

Success,

I found out the hard way that even if you can't see the image it may still be
there. I had same problem and when I tried to paste I found that it copied
every time. I had multiple copies.

I don't see the original message for this thread, so I can't tell if it's
been answered.

When images don't appear in the document, this can be the result of several
different settings. I would examine these settings:

Tools - Options - View: Picture placeholders, Drawings, Background colors
and images

Tools - Options - Print: Drawing objects, Background colors and images
