Default Headers

Is there a way to set the header to only be on the first page of a document
instead of every page?

Thanks,
Sean.

Yes. Select "Different first page" on the Layout tab of Page Setup. For
more, see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/HeaderFooter.htm and

Hi Sean,

In Word 2003, I would go to File, Page Setup, Layout, and select
"Different first page" under the Headers and Footers section.

Good luck with this!

File Page Setup Layout
Check "Different first page." Take a look at: How to set up letterhead or
some other document where you want one header on the first page and a
different header on other pages.

instructions. (It also has the following links)
