Default Disable custom autotext toolbars before sending to clients

We have a template that contains custom autotext and macros. Is there a way
to save the document so that it does not contain any of the macros and
autotext without having to copy it into a blank template/document? It needs
to be completely gone from the document, not just closing out the toolbars.
We don't want our clients to be able to access these features once they get
the document.

Another option would be to still have the toolbars/macros, but not allow
them to work? is there a way to do that?

Toolbars and macros are not stored in documents unless you try to do this.
They should be in the template. When your clients get your document they
will not have access to resources/customizations contained in your template.

Note, this assumes that you are creating your new documents based on the
template using File New to generate the document and opening the template
and using File Save As.

You can see this for yourself by using Tools Templates and Add-Ins to
change the attached template to normal.dot.
