I am trying to make a page that has the same image in four separate boxes,
3.5 x 5, so I can print it and cut the page into four separate flyers. I know how to make columns, but don't know how to make four boxes. |

Sure, I can help you with that! Here's how you can split an 8.5 x 11 page into four boxes of 3.5 x 5:

In later versions of Word, you can print 4 pages per sheet of paper, by
selecting that option in the File Print dialog and telling it to print pages 1, 1, 1, 1 Alternatively, you can use a label that has 4 to the sheet via ToolsLetters and MailingsEnvelopes and Labels. -- Hope this helps. The "4 pages per sheet" option is available only in the Print dialog, not in
Page Setup, and works by reducing the page size, so it is not really appropriate for something that must be designed from the start to be a particular size (getting accurate sizes through Print Zoom can be a trial-and-error process). Labels are just tables, and the size boxes tandj wants will fit easily on a sheet without recourse to the Labels dialog. -- Suzanne S. Insert a three-column, three-row borderless table. Assuming you want even
margins around your four fliers (and assuming your printer can print close enough to the edge), set the page and table up as follows: 1. Set left and right margins to 0.25". 2. Set the width of columns 1 and 3 to 5" and column 2 to 0.5". 3. Set the top margin to 0.38" and the bottom margin to 0.25". 4. Set the height of rows 1 and 3 to Exactly 3.5" and the height of row 2 to 0.75". You'll have a little extra space between the bottom of the table and the bottom margin for the default empty paragraph, which you can format smaller as needed to make it fit. Alternatively, use 5" columns with 0.5" space between (and 0.25" L and R margins). Set top and bottom margins to 0.38" and use paragraph spacing to create the 0.75" between the first and second copies of your flier in each column. -- Suzanne S.
