how do I make my text vertical?
But note that the Text Direction item becomes enabled only if the
cursor is in a table cell, a text box, or a drawing object. For tear-off phone numbers, use a one-row-by-24-column table -- in a 6-inch text column that will make each cell 0.25" wide. In the first cell, change the text direction, type the phone number, format the font, and adjust the row depth if necessary to avoid text wrapping. Select the first cell and copy it. Then select the whole table and paste, which will duplicate the number to the rest of the cells. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org On Sat, 22 Jan 2005 18:50:25 +1100, "Jezebel" wrote: Text Direction on the Format menu "vertical help" vertical wrote in message ... I am trying to make my text vertical. I have a document and I am trying to make little tear off pieces at the bottom that would be written vertically with my name and phone number for selling an item. |
