Wrong icon in Word X for Mac
Hi.
I have a tiny issue with Word. For some reason all Word documents in Mac OS X have the Powerpoint icon. Is there any way to change this? Many thanks Mark |

Select a Word doc, and hit cmd-I to bring up the Info window. Go down to
Open With, select Word, and hit Change All to associate that filetype with Word. If that doesn't work, post on a Mac-specific group (you would have gotten a quicker response posting there in the first place, a much better place for these types of questions): See here for gateway to Mac-specific ngs: http://www.microsoft.com/mac/community/community.aspx?pid=newsgroups On 1/22/05 4:03 PM, "Mark" wrote: Hi.
