There are a few postings regarding this, but none seem to be the same
as my problem,

I have a small LAN, Windows server 2000 and 10 x PCs running XP SP2.

Each PC has 3 mapped network drives which are on the server.

Adobe Acrobat is installed on each PC and users regulally use the
"Print as PDF" option to save documents to the server. Trouble is after
clicking the "Print" button the dialog to select the location to save
the PDF to is taking 3 to 5 minutes to appear.

The same problem can be observered when choosing to "Save target as..."
in IE, 3 to 5 minutes for the "Save As" dialog to appear. The PCs are
not doing anything during this process and the server is also idle.

Any suggestions?
