I know Word won't auto-capitalize the first word of a new sentence when the
previous sentence ends in a number, but can you get it to capitalize the first word of each sentence in a numbered list? It works for bullets, so why not numbers? |

Why indeed? Because apparently a lot of (vocal) users didn't always want to
capitalize items in a numbered list. When this was "fixed," it was broken for running text as well. See €śWord does not capitalize the first letter of a sentence€ť at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/291538 (though it won't tell you anything you don't already know--just confirm that this is "by design"). -- Suzanne S.
