the font in my template is 10 point, new docs have 12 point -help
I've created a template that has text formatted as Arial Bold 10 pt. When I
create a new document from this template, the font comes up as Arial Bold 12 point. I've tried a number of suggestions from the office assistance site, but nothing seems to help - - - |

You need to set the Font to 10 points in the Normal style.
1. Close all other documents. 2. Open your Normal.dot template as a document (i.e. Use FileOpen...) 3. Then use FormatStyles and Formatting and choose "Modify" for the Normal style. 4. Then Save Normal.dot and re-start Word (to clear the Normal template from memory). On 31/3/06 12:32 AM, in article , "Andy" wrote: I've created a template that has text formatted as Arial Bold 10 pt.
