When opening a blank word document ..........
it opens an A5 page, when I want an A$ page how do i change this.
The cursor on the A5 page is also half way down the page on the left hand side, and I cannot bring the cursor up to the top left - how do I do this please. I am on Windows XP home with office 2000. Much appreciated Burt Reynolds Sutton Surrey |

Sorry, it Opens an A5 page when I want to actually open an A4 page...

Hello. Try chaging the page layout in page setup found under the files menu

When opening a blank word document ..........
In a new blank document, without making any other changes, go to File | Page
Setup and select the paper size you want. On the Layout tab, choose Top (instead of Center) as the vertical alignment. Click Default... and answer yes. -- Suzanne S.
