Default Page setup and formatting greyed out, how do I fix?

I received a document that has all of the formatting greyed out. It has
fields that can be typed in, but I cannot change the page setup, margins,
center or anthing else format related. Is there a way around this?

What you received is a protected form in which the sender intended recipients
to complete/modify only certain areas. You can take a look at ToolsUnProtect
Document, but you will probably find that a Password is required to turn the
protection off.

Thank You - I was afraid of that, the author is unknown and his formatting
doesn't fit the page properly, guess I'll have to recreate it. Thanks again

If it's just protected for forms, you can remove the protection by using
Insert | File to insert it in a new blank document.
