![]() Hi All, we run terminal services with Windows 2003. I am sure that there was a way to overide the user info set in HKCU with information in HKLM so that the name in HKLM is used in tracked changes. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\11.0\ Common\UserInfo Is that not the case? The reason I think I know is because I had an issue a few months back where the setting in HKLM was blocking the correstponding setting in HKCU. Thanks! |

Hi Aaron
Settings in the registry do not affect the name of the author attributed to a tracked change. The author of a tracked change is the person whose name appears at Tools Options User Information. Change yours to Buggs Bunny for a moment to demonstrate, though I do advise you to change it back straight away! Hope this helps. Shauna Kelly.
