i'm trying to get my text to print from vertical to horizontal not sure how
to perform the task i looke under formatting and every other tool but to no avil |

you could use a textfield: draw a textfield inyour document and open the
Format menu. now a command to alter the direction of your text is available. this works only in textfields. If you want to change the orientation of your entire document, choose
Landscape (as opposed to Portrait) in Page Setup. If you want to change the direction of only a portion of the text, you can use the Format | Text Direction command in a text box, frame, or table cell. -- Suzanne S.
