Default Word Document shows Autocorrect Lines that are Blue

When I open documents in Word 2003, all of the text is the document has Blue
squiggly lines (like the red squiggly line that appears when a word is
misspelled). I've seen grammar check lines which are green, but what does the
blue squiggly line mean? And how to turn this feature off?

Formatting inconsistencies. See the Help topic "What do the underlines in my
document mean?" or, more generally, "I see something unusual in my
document."

Wavy blue underlines indicate possible inconsistent formatting.
