I want to replace the text "ABCD" with "xyz" in my entire document. When I do
that it replace with "XYZ" in caps. What am I doing wrong. When I am editing some documents I received from others, I always end up with an blank page at the end which I cant get rid off though its empty. But if I shorten the page margins, the empty page does goes away but it messes up the formatting of the pages above. How can I delete these empty pages. What is the "Show/Hide paragraph marks" (ctrl+*) used for and what is the reall use of formatting characters. |

In the Replace dialogue box, select More and then click Match case.
At the end of your document there are some Returns (Enters). If you delete these you will get rid of the blank page. Use the Show/Hide paragraph marks to see these Returns. It will also show when you have pressed the tab key, or the space bar. -- Rae Drysdale "mario" wrote: I want to replace the text "ABCD" with "xyz" in my entire document.
