I've lost my menu and task bar. Somehow my Dad has managed to delete his menu
and task bar on word 2000. I can't seem to work out how to recover it for
him; any suggestions? Or should i just re-install it.

Task bar is a Windows option, not Word. Word 2000 does not have task panes
which later versions do have.
