I am using Microsoft XP Edition. I am trying to make a form template that
can be used over and over. However, my problem is when I add data to the form and then send via email to a recipient and they open it, it reveals previous data that should not be seen. (These forms I use contain confidential data that should be deleted when the new data is inserted). |

I meant what I said. Create your form document from a form template. Send
that out. There are a lot of good reasons for creating new documents from templates rather than other documents. You've stumbled into one of them. For more on the different kinds of templates, tabs on the file new dialog, and locations of templates folders see http://addbalance.com/usersguide/templates.htm. See also http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/temp...ons/index.html for information on the relationship between documents and templates. What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Check this in help. For more about online forms, follow the links at http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm especially Dian Chapman's series of articles. You may also want to look at http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFl...nesInForms.htm.
