Saving WORD documents
I am unable to save WORD documents. When I type "save as" I get a "not
responding" message and the hour glass won't go away OR it will only let me save to the My Documents directory. When I try to save the document to a sub-directory the SAVE button in the SAVE AS dialog box morphs into an OPEN button. It freezes if I click OPEN for a sub-directory. It then sends an error report - sometimes I have top ctrl-alt-del to get out. I am able to use other programs - but Microsoft Office Word (80% of my computer activity) is no good to me. I updated with rcommended downloads - same problem. I recoverd to an earlier restore point. It work for 1 - 2 days only. What can I do? |
