Default Words not being indexed.

Hi all;

I'm working with someone who is generating an index using a concordance
file. This is working like it should, except, a couple of the words in the
index file aren't getting marked and included in the index that is generated.
I can do a find for "particulate matter" for example, and find it in the
document, and the concordance file and the find finds it. So it's not a
spelling error. any ideas??

is it in the normal bodytext layer in the document, or somewhere else
(header/footer, textbox, AutoShape, etc.)?
