Okay...I may not be able to describe this very well...bear with me! I have a
table that I need to lock onto page one of a template that has form fields
that expand infinitly. As people type into the form fields in the other table
I want that table to continue onto the next page if needed...but the table
that is locked on the bottom of page one needs to stay on page one.
Unfortunately, since they will need to be able to type into the table that I
want stuck on page one...I can't put it in the footer! Any suggestions?

What version of Word is this? If it's sufficiently recent, you can position
tables [pretty much] the way you can position graphics -- locking them into
position on a page.

With the table in its desired location, right click on the table and choose
Table Properties. In the Table tab, set Text Wrapping to Around.

Click the Positioning button. Under Options, remove the checks next to Move
with Text and Allow Overlap (if they're checked). Click OK twice.

Perfect...thank you!! Wow...that proves it is a friday for me...I completely
spaced the obvious there! I think I have been looking at these forms for too
long!
