When exiting a Word file (using Word 2003 woth XP professional) that has
been edited I am prompted twice to save the file under rather limited
circuimstances.
1. I am editing a file contained in another account.
2. I did not use the save option before exiting.

Some additonal information, which may or may not be pertainent.
In practice I am editing a file contained in the ADMINISTRATOR account from
a different account having ADMINISTRATOR privilege.

Saving a file to the logged in account works normal.

When prompted twice to save the file, the revision number in the
"Fileproperties Statistics" Tab gets incremented twice, only if you answer
YES to both prompts, however the document gets properly saved on the first
prompt. Answering YES, then NO to the two prompts increments the revision
normally.

I have also noticed that an unedited blank page, "DOCUMENT1", can trigger a
request, but not consistantly. I cannot qualify the conditions for this case.

Does anyone have words of wisdom?
