Most settings are stored in normal.dot; so if you delete that you reset most
things. You'll also lose any customisations like AutoText and macros, which maybe doesn't matter. "TNTom" wrote in message news ![]() Does anyone no how to set Word 2003 back to the default settings |

The settings that aren't stored in Normal.dot are mostly stored in the
Registry. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...eySettings.htm -- Suzanne S.
