Default line above the figure

I have to type digit 5000 and the last 0 should have line (not underline)
above the zero. Can anybody help?

Use an EQ field: { EQ \o (0,¯) }

You might need to raise the macron slightly, depending on your font: select
it within the field, then use Format Font Character Position to raise it
a point or so.
