formatting for map view pan
I was wondering if there is any way to apply some sort of formatting to map

Well, you can modify the Document Map paragraph style, but note that

This means that I can not have different map paragraph styles in one file? Is

Yes. All items display the same in the Document Map (but the heading
containing the insertion point is highlighted).
