Default formatting for map view pan

I was wondering if there is any way to apply some sort of formatting to map
view, like changing color or size or bolding to better visual appearance of
the important sections.

Well, you can modify the Document Map paragraph style, but note that
this applies to all headings displayed in the Document Map.

This means that I can not have different map paragraph styles in one file? Is
this correct?

Yes. All items display the same in the Document Map (but the heading
containing the insertion point is highlighted). How items display are
determined by the Document Map character style.
