Ever since I was upgraded to Word 2003 several months ago, I have had trouble
with the toolbars. I like to view customized standard, formatting and reviewing toolbars. WOrd remembers the customizations within the toolbars, but does not display the toolbars consisistently. For a while word was putting the toolbars in places other than where I left them. Now, it only shows the reviewing toolbar, making me activate standard and formatting manually every time I open a document. I have tried opening normal.dot and manually saving it, but that does not help. |

G'day dandc01 ,
You may wish to rename your Word Data Key in the Registry. (See www.mvps.org for more info). Bad toolbar karma ends up in there as well.
