I am trying to build a large document template.
I have headers in each section - the 2nd line of which forms a "headline" in the TOC. Although, there are also other "headers" in the TOC that are not from text found in the actual document. Some examples are below. How do I automate my TOC to accomodate pulling lines from the headers and interspersing with "fixed" headers that head up groups of info? EXAMPLE "Required Information" - This text does not appear in doc but is a BOLD head in the TOC with the following supporting topics (whose text appears as the 2nd line of headers in the document) "Mgt Discussion and Analysis" - this text appears in line 2 of the header box in this section "Independent Auditor's Report" - this text appears in line 2 of the header box in this section "Financial Section" - this is another BOLD topic for the TOC(like "Required Info" with 2 "levels" of topics underneath "Govt Wide Statements" - this text also does not appear in the doc "Statement XYZ" - this text appears in the 2nd line of the header box on the page it is located |

See http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/RunInSidehead.htm; for this case,
however, you will probably have to use TC fields. -- Suzanne S.
